Welcome to UJA Aspen Valley

UJA Aspen Valley, powered by JEWISHcolorado, secures and enriches a bright Jewish future in the Roaring Fork Valley, Israel and around the world.

Our work is informed and inspired by our commitment to the values of Chesed (caring and compassion), Torah (Jewish learning), Tikkun Olam (repair the world), Tzedaka (social justice), and Klal Yisrael (coming together).

In the Roaring Fork Valley, we support 3 Hebrew Schools and fund scholarships for kids to attend Jewish summer camp. We provide free books and music to children through the PJ Library program, which is generously underwritten by Alan Franco. We also support Golshim L’Chaim, which helps rehabilitate and empower injured Israel soldiers through skiing and snowboarding.

In Israel and around the world, your donations enable us to provide life-saving and life-enhancing services for those in need. This includes giving trauma counseling and financial assistance to families in southern Israel who have suffered from rocket attacks rescuing Jews from countries of distress and providing relief to thousands of our poor, elderly brethren in the FSU. It also includes funding training and educational programs to break the cycle of poverty, supporting absorption centers to help new immigrants successfully integrate into Israeli society and offering mentoring programs for at-risk teenage girls through Jump Start.

Where Does the Money Go?

Donations to UJA Aspen Valley’s Annual Campaign fund overseas partnership agencies such as The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). They also help to ensure a bright Jewish future by supporting the Jewish community in the Roaring Fork Valley through funding to local synagogues, day schools, summer camps, and more. We are proud to be able to run our operations with minimal overhead.
